Job summary

FutureJobHub LLC in New York seeks a CNC2 Machine Operator to perform machining on castings and parts using drill press and tapping machines. You will load and position parts, operate drilling, milling, tapping, and related operations, and inspect finished parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and position parts into chucks, fixtures, and machines.
• Operate machines for drilling, milling, tapping, reaming, boring, facing, threading, and counterboring.
• Initiate machine cycles and inspect finished parts.
• Use fixed gauges to check work at required intervals.
• Identify and report machine issues, defective materials, and unusual conditions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company and safety procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 months of manufacturing experience.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY; no relocation assistance available.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Experience using verniers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• CNC or machine operation experience is a plus.
