Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate standard CNC machine tools.
• Read and understand blueprints and written specifications.
• Use shop mathematics to determine dimensions.
• Operate machinist hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Shape metal bars, forgings, and castings to precise dimensions.
• Work with various metals, speeds and feeds in machining.
• Meet production and quality standards with maximum productivity.
• Lift 5 to 50 pounds regularly.
• Inspect parts and set up machinery as needed.
• Stand 40–60% of the time to load, unload, inspect parts.
• Walk around the plant to change machines and retrieve parts.
• Read and write to comprehend safety warnings and paperwork.
• Communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, inspectors.
• Learn and remember machine controls and tooling.
• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
