CNC Machine Operator – 2nd Shift | $18.00+ per hour DOE | Monday – Friday, 2:15 pm – 10:45 pm

• Pay: $18.00 per hour or more depending on experience
• Schedule: 2nd Shift: 2:15 pm – 10:45 pm, Monday - Friday
• Location: South Charlotte 28273
• Work Type: Contract to Hire

Job Description:

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will fabricate solid-state laser materials and components for medical, defense, industrial, and scientific applications. You will work with a dedicated team committed to ensuring high production and quality standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to use hand tools, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and sine plates
• Strong math skills, including use of scientific calculators, geometry, and trigonometry
• Interpret engineering blueprints to determine fabrication methods
• Experience with CNC machines, specifically HAAS Mill & Lathe (3-axis CNC)
• Experience with surface grinders (Harig, Chevalier, DCM, Okamoto)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Strong work ethic
