Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and setup sheets.
• Ability to use gauges and identify quality defects.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor production machinery.
• Follow all safety rules, company procedures, and work instructions.
• Read and understand work instructions, setup sheets, attribute sheets, and gauge requirements.
• Perform quality checks and identify defective parts.
• Understand and maintain customer quality standards.
• Report machine problems, unsafe conditions, and production issues to a supervisor immediately.
• Perform basic CNC machine operations, including offset and tooling changes.
• Perform routine machine maintenance, including checking coolant and lubricant levels.
• Properly remove and replace chip containers.
• Keep machines running efficiently to maintain consistent production.
• Complete daily production paperwork and accurately record time worked.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow company quality policies and employee handbook procedures.
• Work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
