Legacy Staffing is partnering with a Northeast Ohio manufacturer in Massillon, OH to hire an experienced Schutte Machine Operator for first shift. Pay range is $20-24/hour based on experience, with overtime opportunities.

You will operate Schutte multi-spindle machines, maintain quality, perform inspections, and support continuous manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has machining experience and seeks growth into setup and higher-level responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of machining or manufacturing experience.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspect finished parts to specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and maintain reliable attendance.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate Schutte multi-spindle machines during production runs.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain production flow.
• Load materials and verify production requirements.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and tooling offsets.
• Conduct in-process quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Read blueprints and verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and work area organization.
• Assist Setup Technicians during changeovers and tooling preparation.
• Accurately document production counts, scrap, and downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards.

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a growing Northeast Ohio manufacturing company in Massillon, OHto hire an experienced Schutte Machine Operator. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of $20-24/hour based on experience and skill level, plus overtime opportunities. This role focuses on operating Schutte multi-spindle machines, maintaining production quality, performing inspections, and supporting continuous manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has machining experience and is looking to grow into setup and higher-level technical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Schutte multi-spindle machines during production runs
• Monitor machine performance and maintain production flow
