Job summary

Phillips Staffing is now hiring for CNC Machine Operators for a leading manufacturer located in Liberty, SC. We are seeking motivated individuals who are able to work productively in a medium-to-fast paced environment.

This role involves operating all types of machines and other duties in the secondary operations department after training, loading/unloading parts, using standard gauges, and ensuring quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated
• Productivity in a team environment
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Overtime availability
• Dress code compliance: Steel Toe, ESD shoes

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of machines and perform secondary operations after training
• Load/unload parts from machines as instructed by supervisor
• Use gauges including dial calipers, depth gauges, plug gauges and others after instruction
• Maintain knowledge of quality requirements for machined parts
• Change cutting tools (tools, drills, taps, end mills) with assistance
• Make machine adjustments with guidance from setup or supervisor
• Identify and report quality problems to supervisor
• Assist in sharpening certain cutting tools with setup personnel
