Job description

Job Title: CNC Machine Operator / Lathe Operator

The CNC Machine Operator / Lathe Operator is responsible for machining parts according to specifications by operating CNC lathes.

1. Operate two to three machines daily.
2. Set up various types of CNC lathes properly.
3. Perform part inspections at the beginning of each shift; record date, time, and initials.
4. Set up machines and edit programs as needed.
5. Write new programs as required.
6. Enter daily production data into the database system.
7. Monitor tooling, lubricants, and other shop supplies.
8. Perform basic daily machine maintenance checks; refill lube oil and coolant; remove metal chips.
9. Deburr parts as needed.
10. Remove chip buildup at the end of each shift.
11. Require 2-4 years of experience in machining, fabrication, tooling, manufacturing, or production industries.
12. Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident to meet AFSI ITAR requirements.
