Position Summary

The CNC Panel Cutter / Cutting Specialist is responsible for producing high-quality cabinet components by operating and maintaining cutting equipment. This role involves reading specifications, programming machines, and ensuring materials are cut accurately and efficiently to support cabinet assembly. The position also plays a key role in maintaining equipment performance through preventative maintenance and calibration.

Key Responsibilities

• Program and operate cutting department equipment, including CNC machinery
• Cut custom panels and cabinet components according to specifications
• Read and interpret drawings, order forms, and measurements
• Determine and follow the correct sequence of operations
• Inspect materials and finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Detect malfunctions and make necessary machine adjustments
• Replace blades and maintain tooling as needed
• Prepare machines for production runs
• Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work area
• Support preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods

Working Hours

• Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM until production is complete (no later than 5:00 PM)
• Occasional Saturdays as needed

General Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Computer fluency
• Ability to accurately use a tape measure
• Willingness to learn and be trained
