Required Skills:

Manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding, and milling

Read and decipher blueprints to ensure correct dimensional drawings are being used

Uses, creates, or completes required documentation supporting scheduled or completed work

Communicate both verbally and in written form effectively

Perform simple mathematical calculations

Translate mechanical documents and engineering drawings

Uses basic shop match and geometry

Understands quality systems, lean manufacturing, and safety procedures

Physical Attributes: A CNC Machine Operator must have the ability to:

Stand, sit, walk, and move for up to twelve hours at a time

Lift, move, and / or carry up to 50 pounds.

Read and write the English language with proficiency

See adequately enough to read documentation with corrected vision

Learn and collate knowledge of similar tasks in different situations
