Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in Fargo, ND is seeking a CNC Machine Operator trainee to start with supervision and grow into skilled operation of major machinery. You will learn capacities, perform routine tasks, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards.

The position offers a Monday–Thursday 6:00 am–4:30 pm shift and Friday half-day, with availability of overtime. A full benefits package is included and experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Basic computer skills related to machine operation.
• Reading a tape measure (imperial & metric).
• Ability to work safely and accurately.

Description

POSITION: CNC Machine Operator

SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm; Friday, 6:00 am - 11:00 am (OT as needed)

PAY RATE: $21.42 - 23.00+ per hour (DOE) + Full Benefits Package

LOCATION:Fargo, ND

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Machine Operator1is a trainee position, with all work being completed with varying levels of supervision from theShop Supervisoror Machine Operator 2or3.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform all duties in a safe manner and in compliance with the established JSA.
• Operate, with supervision, at least one major piece of equipment; demonstrate competency on routine, repetitive tasks; learn machine capacities; participate in routine maintenance procedures.

• Responsible for the proper use and care of tools and equipment.
• Practice and promote Safety and Housekeeping.
• Prompt and dependable attendance.
• Others duties as assigned.
