Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in Huron, SD is seeking a Material Handler to support fabrication operations. The role involves unloading inbound material, loading outbound goods, and distributing materials to various work areas.

The position offers a Monday–Friday shift with OT as needed and a competitive pay rate plus a full benefits package. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and the ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric).

SHIFT:Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30 pm (OT as needed)

PAY RATE: $20.40 - $23.00+ per hour (DOE) + Full Benefit Package

LOCATION:Huron, SD

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for the general handling of materials where applicable. The handling of material may be associated with various areas, including unloading in-bound material, loading out-bound material or moving and distributing material to various operation areas for fabrication.

• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.
• Prompt and dependable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED required.
