Job summary

Gerotech is seeking a hands-on Machine Builder I to assemble, install, modify, and integrate components for CNC machine tools and automation solutions. You will work with the Engineering Solutions team to support customized machine builds that meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, reads drawings, and enjoys precise, quality-focused work. You will collaborate with engineers, perform routine testing, and participate in training and development opportunities

Qualifications

Hands-on mechanical assembly experience.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings or willingness to learn.
Proficiency with hand and power tools and precision measuring instruments.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and modify CNC machine tools and automation systems.
Fabricate and install brackets, stands, guards, and other components per drawings.
Read assembly instructions and technical documents accurately.
Source and order mechanical components needed for machine builds.
Maintain a safe, organized work environment and document progress.
