Job summary

Prolec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is seeking an experienced operator to set up and run CNC machines, load/unload parts and inspect quality. You will read part drawings, use micrometers and calipers, and utilize CNC controls to prove and edit programs.

Qualifications

• Interprets simple and complex part drawings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, load and unload CNC machines to produce parts.
• Interpret drawings, apply speeds/feeds and ensure quality.
• Utilize machine controls, DNC links and file transfers to run programs.
• Prove out and edit simple part programs; perform basic maintenance.
• Train operators and helpers; assist with supervision as needed.
• Diagnose machine problems and assist with repairs; maximize uptime.
• Meet production standards and maintain safety and quality.
