Job summary

Tietex International in the Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson area is seeking a skilled CNC Department Lead / CAD-CAM Programmer-Machinist to oversee day-to-day operations, scheduling, and safety compliance. You will program CNC machines using CAD-CAM tools, set up equipment, optimize processes, and mentor team members while collaborating with engineering and production to drive continuous improvement.

This on-site, full-time role requires leadership and hands-on machining and measurement

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong CAD-CAM programming skills reading drawings and creating toolpaths.
• Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling and inspection methods.
• Leadership to coordinate a CNC department and mentor teammates.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and preventive maintenance in manufacturing.
• Effective cross-functional communication with engineering, production and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day CNC department operations, scheduling jobs and assigning work.
• Program CNC machines using CAD-CAM software and optimize machining processes.
• Set up and operate CNC equipment and monitor productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering and production on tooling and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor team members; support continuous improvement initiatives.
