The CNC Machinist, Lathe – Trainee is an entry level role working under complete supervision to learn manual machine operation, in-process inspection, and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of consistent working experience; related experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment and maintain safe work habits.
• Keep a clean and safe work area.
• Learn to set up and operate a lathe machine.
• Conduct basic in-process inspections.
• Calculate simple dimensions of work pieces.
