Job summary

Chicago Fittings Corp. is seeking a CNC Machinist/Operator to run a CNC Lathe, inspect parts, and support production with data entry and routine setup tasks.

This role includes forklift operation, packaging, and maintaining a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should have 1-3 years of CNC machining experience, be able to read blueprints, and contribute to quality systems through diligent inspection and problem solving.

Qualifications

• CNC program editing - some experience preferred.
• CNC setup - some experience preferred.
• General machine operation.
• General quality systems.
• General inspection practices.
• Visual inspection.
• Ability to read blueprints/part prints.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathe.
• Collect and enter production tracking data into company computers.
• Inspect product for quality.
• Package product.
• Clean/de-burr of product.
• Perform other machine operations.
• Troubleshoot machining problems.
• Minor program editing.
• Operate forklift.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Duties as required.
