Job summary

HUBER TECHNOLOGY LLC in North Carolina is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for 2nd shift to operate Geminis lathe and related equipment, reading blueprints and maintaining quality.

You will set up tools, edit programs, load parts with overhead cranes, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement. Requires 5 years CNC lathe experience with Fanuc 31i B; working knowledge of Excel; able to work 2:00pm–10:30pm; $3 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating CNC lathe with Fanuc 31i B control.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings.
• Experience programming with Fanuc 31i B is a must; knowledge of Fanuc 31i B tools a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Pre-Hire: ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines in a safe manner.
• Check tooling, setups, program coordinates, and any information to ensure a quality part.
• Edit the program to make corrections as needed.
• Load and unload heavy weldments using overhead cranes.
• Troubleshoot material issues and suggest improvements for client needs.
