B&A Precision, a CNC manufacturing company serving Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries, seeks a skilled CNC Lathe Set Up Technician. You will set up and operate multiple CNC lathes, reading blueprints and GD&T, and use precision gauges to confirm dimensions.

Reporting to the shop President, you will support quality and efficient production in a team environment. The role requires 3+ years of experience, readiness to work 1st shift, and a strong detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC Lathe experience.
• Ability to set up and run 2- and 3-axis CNC horizontal lathes.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls.
• Solid knowledge of G-code programming.
• Experience with bar feeding systems is a plus.
• Read blueprints and GD&T knowledge desirable.
• Competence with precision measurement instruments and gauges.
• Team player in a shop environment.
• This is a full-time, 1st shift position.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines to produce precision components.
• Report to the shop President and ensure manufacturing processes meet specs.
• Maintain quality and dimensions using precision measuring instruments.

1. Ability to set up and run 2 and 3 axis CNC horizontal lathes.

2. Familiarity with Fanuc controls.

3. Solid knowledge of G-code programming.

4. Experience with bar feeding systems a plus.

5. Ability to read blueprints and working knowledge of GD&T is desirable.

6. Competence in the use of various measuring instruments and gages to verify both production and first piece dimensions.

7. Willing to work in a team-based environment.

8. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience.

9. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.

10. This is a full-time, 1st

    shift position and pays an extremely competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.
