Qualifications

• Strong experience with CNC lathe setup and programming.
• Experience programming with Mastercam.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience performing multiple setups in a job shop environment.
• Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups and prove-outs.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Select tooling and determine machining strategies.
• Run first articles and verify part accuracy.
• Make program adjustments as needed.
• Maintain tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
• Minimize scrap through careful planning and execution.
• Perform multiple setups throughout the week (often multiple per day).
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and production variables.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
