BMT Aerospace International, based in Fraser, MI, USA, is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to independently set up and operate CNC lathes to tight tolerances. This on-site role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

The candidate will interpret setup sheets and blueprints, select tooling, and perform routine maintenance while maintaining part quality and dimensional accuracy. Overtime may be required as needed to meet production goals.

Formación

• 4-5 years of experience in precision CNC machining.
• Familiar with Fanuc OI, Fanuc 21i, Haas, and Okuma controls.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime hours.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Responsabilidades

BMT Aerospace, USA is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist, who can independently set up and operatoe CNC lathes to precise tolerances and specifications. This role requires a high level of technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and continus improvement.

Key Responsibilites are:

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes to produce parts of varying complexity.
• Interpret computer-generated setup sheets and blueprints to determine proper tooling, fixtures, feeds etc
• Use precision measuring intstruments( e.g. micrometers, heigh gauges, bore gauges) to inspect and verify part dimensions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and monitor tool wear: replace tools, and inserts as needed.
• Make offset adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy
• Cross-train on various machines and processes to support team flexiblity.
• Perform other duties

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience in precision CNC machining
• Familar with Fanuc OI , Fanuc 21i, Haas, and Okuma controls is highly desirable
• Ablity to work independent with minimal supervison
• Willingness to work overtime hours
• Strong understanding of CNC programing
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
