Job summary

Precision, Inc. in Humboldt, IA is seeking a CNC Machine Operator (Lathe) for 2nd shift to set up and operate CNC Lathe, perform ID/OD turning, read blueprints, and produce quality parts within tolerance using micrometers and other gauges.

You will follow work orders, maintain safety, and occasionally support other areas of the plant; a high school diploma or GED and 0–3 months related experience are required or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and job orders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Know how to read micrometers, bore gauges, calipers and related measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe (or manual Lathe).
• Read and follow work orders and production schedules.
• Produce parts within tolerances and use measuring equipment to verify quality.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping in the work area.
