Nationwide Technical Resources Corp in Hicksville, NY seeks a CNC Lathe Operator for the 2nd shift. The role involves setting up and operating CNC Mill, Lathe, Mill-turn or Swiss Lathe, reading blueprints and tool sheets, and ensuring part accuracy. A HS diploma and some technical training are preferred.

Formación

• Interpret blueprints, drawings and written instructions for each job order.
• Identify correct tools from tool sheets for each job.
• Download proper programming and perform machine setup with proper tools and raw materials.
• Review programs for accuracy and make adjustments as necessary.
• Work with Foreman to resolve issues and ensure quality.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate CNC Mill, Lathe, Mill-turn or Swiss Lathe.
• Produce sample pieces and submit for inspection.
• Perform inspection using gauges, micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain clean and organized work area, machines and tools.
