Mazak Corporation is seeking a CNC Operator to join the Manufacturing team in Kentucky. The role focuses on setting up, running and testing production parts on CNC lathe equipment to meet schedules and quality requirements.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, modify programs, and perform accuracy checks while maintaining safe operations and using Mazatrol formats to ensure precise parts for production demand.

Qualifications

• 3 years of CNC lathe experience is required.
• Ability to program using different methods to test cut a part to print specs.
• Must be familiar with the metric system and have strong math skills.
• Familiar with various gaging instruments and inspection practices.

Responsibilities

• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Operate, set up, and inspect parts on CNC lathe equipment.
• Modify part programs to print spec for size, shape and tolerancing.
• Utilize Mazatrol programming for operation of CNC lathe equipment.
• Set up parts using chucks, jaws & steady rests for work holding.
• Read blueprints and perform accuracy checks throughout run cycles.
