Job summary

Wenthe-Davidson Engineering Co. is seeking a CNC operator to set up and run turning and/or milling centers, producing parts in a team-driven environment.

You will perform basic setups, monitor production with gauges, and ensure parts meet customer quality requirements. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience and a strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to read setup sheets, follow routings, and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

• Basic shop math and measurements.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Ability to read and follow setup sheets and routings.
• Ability to use calipers, bore gauges, and other gauges for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes and/or mills in production cells.
• Perform basic setups using setup sheets and routings.
• Monitor parts with measuring tools to ensure quality.
• Adjust offsets and lengths to meet tolerances.
• Run first production runs and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform operator-level preventative maintenance.
• Possibly run more than one machine simultaneously.
