Job summary

Accelera Staffing is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator in Rockdale, IL, for a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30 am–4:30 pm). The role offers hourly pay between $22.00 and $24.00 and a benefits package including vision, dental, and medical insurance.

Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team in Rockdale, IL. This position offers a schedule of Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a pay range of $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Core Duties

• Prepare CNC equipment for upcoming production cycles
• Ensure the safe and productive operation of lathes and CNC machinery
• Help maintain consistent part quality by adhering to strict tolerance requirements
• Utilize micrometers and calipers to verify precise measurements
• Contribute to a tidy and well-organized production environment

Required Qualifications

• Possess strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical proficiency
• Demonstrate the ability to interpret various measuring instruments
• Show proficiency in using hand tools and operating machinery
• Maintain effective communication with team members
• Hold a high school diploma or GED, with preference given to those with a background in machine shops or manufacturing
• Proficiency in CNC machine operation
• Expertise in setting up and running lathes
• Solid understanding of manufacturing and metalworking processes
• Mastery of precision measurement methodsAbility to successfully complete a background check and drug screening
