CNC Lather OperatorPay Rate: Starting at $21/hour + DOE
Location: Houston, TX 77039
Schedule: 5AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays 5-12 PM when required)
Duties and Responsibilities:- Set up and operate CNC lathes independently for standard production runs
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing common worncomponents
- Use metrology tools to measure and verify part specifications
- Document production activities according to Quality Systems.
- Basic understanding of API Q1 and ISO 9001 and the impact in the procedures
- Maintain a safe working environment by following established protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goal
- Assist in training entry-level operators
- Perform other duties as required by management
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational program or apprenticeship in
- machining preferred
- 1-3 years of experience operating manual and CNC lathes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting standard technical drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrated understanding of machining principles and operations
- Experience with common machining tools and metrology equipment
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Knowledge of common materials used in machining processes
- Understanding of and adherence to safety protocols
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
