Job summary

Alpha Machine Co. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a CNC Lathe/Mill Set Up/Operator for a 1st shift. 40-50 hours, Mon-Fri 7:00-3:30 with occasional Saturdays. Must have 3–5 years setting up Mills or Lathes, read blueprints, and strong mechanical background.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating CNC Lathes/Mills, organizing inspections, and keeping work area clean. Must have own tools. Benefits include paid holidays, employer-paid insurance, and vacation after 90 days.

Qualifications

About the Job:

CNC Lathe/Mill Set Up/Operator

This is a 1st shift position, working 40-50 hours per week with occasional Saturdays. Normal working hours are Mon-Fri 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Must be in Arizona. Looking to setup interviews and fill a few positions ASAP.

Immediate opening for day shift:

• CNC Lathe/Mill Set Up / Operator.

Qualifications:

• Must be dependable and show up to work everyday.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints & other mechanical drawings.
• Working knowledge of geometry and mathematics.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong CNC Lathe/mill knowledge.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience setting up Mills or lathes.
• Must have your own tools.

Functions:

• Set up and operate CNC Lathes/Mills.
• Organize and set up an inspection to monitor parts.
• Maintain a clean machine & working area.
