Job summary

Continental Engineering & Manufacturing (CEM) in Minnesota is seeking a CNC Lathe/Mill Operator to run CNC lathes and mills with minimal supervision, maintaining quality and safety on production lots. The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping and teamwork in a climate-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Capable of reading blueprints and work instructions
• Strong attention to quality and safety procedures
• Able to work in a team and follow directions

Responsibilities

• Load/unload materials and parts manually or with equipment
• Operate CNC lathes and/or mills with supervision
• Communicate machine issues to supervisor/quality control
• Inspect finished parts for quality and tolerances
• Perform tool changes and offsets to meet specifications
• Maintain production records and daily paperwork
• Assist with setup, maintenance and housekeeping
• Meet or exceed production goals and safety standards
• Support continuous improvement and safety programs
