Job summary

Quality Controlled Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking qualified CNC Lathe and Mill Machinists who can set up and run jobs with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate has experience in a machine shop, is familiar with Fanuc, Okuma, and Haas controls, and understands blueprints and GD&T.

A background in lean manufacturing and ISO quality systems is a plus. Candidates must supply their own tools and are expected to work overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as a CNC Machinist in a machine shop.
• Must be proficient at setting up and working unsupervised.
• Comfortable with Fanuc, Okuma, Haas and other controls.
• Possesses knowledge of various metals including castings & forgings.
• Understands speeds/feeds used when cutting different materials including exotic alloys.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principals is a plus.
• Understands geometric tolerance along with being proficient at reading & understanding blueprints.
• Must be comfortable/competent in making program changes at the machining centers.
• Familiar with 6Sigma methodologies and principals is a plus.
• Should have a general understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.
• Qualified applicants must have their own tools.
• All candidates must possess minimum 3 years experience and be dependable, hardworking, a team player, and willing to overtime.
