Job summary

WEBCO MFG in Independence, MO is hiring a CNC Machinist to operate CNC mills and lathes, read blueprints, and produce parts to exacting specs. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a pay rate of $30.00 to $40.00 per hour and a welcoming, air-conditioned workshop.

As part of a growing, employee-owned team, you’ll work with advanced equipment (Haas, Doosan, Mori Seiki) and enjoy an ESOP, quarterly bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience required.
• Ability to work 7am-3:30pm, Monday–Friday.
• Basic math and the ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to interpret Geometric Tolerances precisely.
• Strong analytical skills with precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Use precision tools and equipment such as drill presses and lathes.
• Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes and other machinery to produce parts.
• Read blueprints, measure, gauge, and inspect to meet specs.
• Understand and comply with ISO 9001 standards.
• Machining parts from raw stock or welded materials; maintain equipment.

Job duties

• Use a variety of precision and cutting tools and equipment, such as a drill press, and lathes.


• Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes and other machinery to produce items as required.


• Reads blueprints, performs measurements, gauging, and inspections as required. Ensure all work meets quality standards, instructions, and specifications.


• Understand and comply with industry regulations ISO 9001.


• Machining parts from raw stock or welded materials.


• Regularly clean, and maintain machinery and equipment as needed.
