Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Texarkana, AR seeks an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist (Setup & Operation) to independently set up and run CNC lathes ensuring parts meet specs. Pays from $24/hour with first and second shifts available, climate-controlled facility, PTO, and full benefits.

You will install tooling, measure parts with calipers and gauges, and maintain records while contributing to safety and training initiatives in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to use measuring instruments including calipers, tapes, Pi tapes, squares and protractors.
• Understanding of machining tolerances and quality requirements.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate NC/CNC lathes without assistance.
• Install and adjust tooling, jaws, and fixtures.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
• Read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and production documents.
• Document production and quality records as required.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Train and assist other operators when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in safety initiatives and training programs.
• Support departmental production needs, including overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
