Job summary

Fluidyne Corp. is a DOD contractor that manufactures custom valves for Navy programs. We are seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist with at least 3 years of experience in programming, setup, and machining precision parts, including castings and forgings.

Okuma control experience or similar software will be supported by training. The role covers programming, setup, fixturing, and operation of CNC lathes. Most parts are close-tolerance with low run quantities, and this is not a high-production shop.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience programming, setup, and machining precision parts.
• Experience with castings and forgings preferred.
• Proficiency with both CNC and manual equipment.
• Ability to produce parts per drawings with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, fixturing, and operate CNC lathe.
• Work on close-tolerance, low-volume parts.
• Follow drawings and quality requirements.
• Background check may be required.
