NxEdge, Inc. is a world-class provider of engineered coatings for the semiconductor market. We seek a hands-on CNC Lathe Machinist to join our team on swing or day shifts.

The role focuses on programming and setting up CNC lathes, reading blueprints with GD&T, and ensuring parts meet strict specifications. The successful candidate will have 3+ years CNC machining experience, good measuring skills, and familiarity with G-code and M-code.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC machining experience or equivalent apprenticeship/education
• Basic computer skills including email and Windows navigation
• Working knowledge of CNC Lathe G-code and M-code programming

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and work instructions including GD&T
• Program and setup CNC Lathe machines
• Identify process issues and suggest continuous improvement opportunities
• Tend to machine tools to produce parts to specification on production basis
• Secure work piece and load into machine or load automatic feeding device
• Start and monitor machining operations and adjust as needed
• Inspect and measure machined parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparator
• Perform basic deburring, sanding, or finishing of machined parts
• Clean machined components using approved methods
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE
