Janicki Industries is seeking a Lathe Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual lathes, machining precision components on-site in Mount Vernon, Washington. The role requires reading blueprints, tight tolerances, and strong attention to detail.

The position offers a swing shift differential and weekend premiums, with a base wage range of $22–$45 per hour plus discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits. Applicants must be eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma or GED; trade schooling is a plus.
• At least 1 year of machining experience is required.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual lathes to machine precision components.
• Read blueprints, isometric drawings, and work orders to verify specs.
• Follow safety practices and maintain a clean, FOD-free workspace.
• Interpret and apply material tooling and finishing processes as needed.
• Operate both CNC and manual lathe and perform basic maintenance.
