FM Industries, a premier manufacturing solutions provider in Fremont, CA, is seeking a Machinist, Lathe 2 - Swing Shift. The role focuses on setting up and running CNC lathe work with medium to high complexity, under supervision.

The position operates on a swing shift from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with training on the dayshift for two weeks. Applicants should have 3–5 years of experience, CNC programming knowledge, and strong inspection skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of work experience in machining.
• CNC programming knowledge and G & M code.
• Experience with inspection practices.
• Ability to operate CNC lathes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run repeat or proven parts on the CNC lathe with minimal supervision.
• Handle DNC communications for uploading/downloading tool programs.
• Inspect and measure parts to maintain quality.
• Read blueprints, tooling instructions and standard charts.
