P&F Machining, Inc. in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist I to operate Mazak lathes to our standards and customer specifications. The role is first shift with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of machining experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read job travelers and documentation while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing machining experience.
• Must live in surrounding communities; no out-of-state applicants.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift.
• Follow safety rules and regulations.
• Follow quality policies and goals.
• Read and follow job travelers and other manufacturing documentation.
• Operate machines and make offsets with supervision from Level II or higher machinists.
• Edit programs with Level III or higher verifying accuracy.
• Perform mechanical inspection of parts and materials using micrometers, calipers, thread gauges and pin gauges.
• Perform visual inspections of parts and materials using unaided eye and magnification.
• Ensure segregation, identification and reporting of non-conforming product.
• Perform basic maintenance on machines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other tasks as directed by supervisor.
• All essential functions must be performed in an efficient manner.

P&F Machining, Inc., in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking CNC Lathe Machinist I, for our first shift, that will produce product using CNC Mazak lathes to P&F standards and customer specifications. Skills And Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate understanding of GD&T.
• Follow documented procedures and standards.
• Interpret feature of size requirements on blueprints.
• Effective user of ERP system and Microsoft Office software.
• Operate CMM and other automated inspection equipment with direction.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and accurately perform duties while meeting productivity expectations.
• Ability to work independently and accurately perform duties in a fast-paced environment to assure delivery requirements.
• Must demonstrate problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Education
