Job summary

Custom Marine in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who can program, set up and operate lathes with sub-spindles and live tooling. You’ll contribute in a clean, modern shop that runs a four-day work week with overtime available.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, ensuring parts meet specs with precision tools, and adjusting programs as needed. The shop uses Doosan Lynx 2600SY and Puma 31/00SY with live tooling; Fanuc ISeries G-code knowledge and Mastercam

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong understanding of G-Code programming using Fanuc ISeries Plus.
• Familiarity with Mastercam software is bonus.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC lathes to produce parts to specification with attention to detail.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to understand project specifications.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished parts.
• Ability to make program adjustments as needed to produce parts that meet print specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and manage priorities to meet customer needs.
