Job summary

Randstad Staffing is seeking a Direct Hire CNC Lathe Machinist to join our Aerospace/Automotive manufacturing client in Blaine, MN. The position is a first shift with hours 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime on Fridays. Competitive pay of $30-38 per hour and full-time, direct-hire benefits are offered.

Responsibilities include quoting, setup documentation, and running programs with SolidWorks familiarity. Prior experience with Makino, Haas, and other CNC machines is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting quotes and setup documents.
• Familiar with Makino, Haas, and other common CNC machines.
• SolidWorks experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare quotes and documentation for new runs.
• Perform first-time-run-through on programs and document setup information for repeat runs.
• Ensure repeat runs use accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Experience working with quotes.
• Working experience and familiarity with Makino machines (Highly preferred) among other common brands (Makino A51NX, A55, A66 / Haas VF6, VF4, ST20 / SMEC SL2000 / Nakamura - Tome AS-200L) to name a few.
• SolidWorks experience.
• Under limited supervision, must be able to do first-time-run-through on his or her programs accurately and timely to ensure proper documentation and setup information for repeat runs.
