Are you an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist looking for your next opportunity with a precision manufacturing company? We are recruiting for multiple CNC machining openings throughout Suffolk County with companies looking for machinists who can set up, operate, inspect, and produce precision components.
Multiple full-time opportunities are available throughout Suffolk County, with compensation based on experience and machining capability.
What you may be doing:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and turning centers
- Work with 2-axis, 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC equipment
- Load tooling, inserts, raw material, jaws, and workholding fixtures
- Set tool offsets, work offsets, and machine parameters
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
- Use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Measure finished parts to verify dimensions and tight tolerances
- Make offset adjustments and minor program edits as needed
- Change tooling and inserts throughout production
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality
- Complete production and inspection documentation
- Follow quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures

- working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
