Maverick Group US is assisting a client in Minnesota seeking a hands-on leader to own the CNC turning department. You will oversee programming, setup, and troubleshooting while guiding machinists and setup personnel. Expect 20–30% of time on machines and the remainder on planning and leadership.

Ideal candidates have strong GD&T knowledge, aviation-related tolerances, and experience with CAM systems (GibbsCAM preferred) with a track record of stable work history and on-site availability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC turning experience with strong lathe skills.
• Strong CAM programming experience; GibbsCAM preferred; self-learning allowed for GibbsCAM.

Responsabilités

• Walk the department each morning and review output to identify delays.
• Determine performance issues and implement practical solutions quickly.
• Prioritize upcoming jobs and assign to machines.
• Check, order, and prepare tooling.
• Program, set up, and troubleshoot parts; support others.
