Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and cutting requirements.
• Set up and operate CNC laser-cutting equipment; adjust parameters as needed.
• Perform pre-operation inspections; ensure safety and proper guards.
• Inspect parts with measuring tools and handle nonconforming material per procedures.
• Monitor cutting process and report equipment or quality concerns to supervisor.
• Prepare machine files and layouts in laser software for accurate work.
• Maintain records and perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
