Qualifications

• Must be capable of using common measuring equipment for sheet metal.
• Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and process instructions.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to distinguish material types (aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel).
• Demonstrated reliability (attendance, process conformance).
• Willingness to participate in continuous improvement activities.
• 2 years CNC machine experience desired.
• Associates degree in Mechanical Technology desired.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Laser machine according to procedures.
• Verify safety features at start of shift and report malfunctions.
• Follow PPE and safety requirements and review job prints/instructions.
• Use measuring devices to verify tolerances on parts.
• Maintain machine and tooling; assist maintenance as needed.
• Identify and implement improvements to reduce setup time and tooling costs.
