Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and willingness to learn CNC equipment.
• Familiarity with Office 365 and Fourth Shift a plus.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Good English communication; Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work in a team while following safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material handling, staging sheets, and unloading cut parts from the machine.
• Remove tabs and micro-joints, perform basic deburring and organize parts by job travelers.
• Learn basic machine operation principles, including laser safety zones and PPE usage.
• Support senior operators by cleaning slats, emptying scrap bins, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Verify material type and thickness against the job traveler using tape measures and calipers.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain correct production material flow.
