Job summary

Horsepower Automotive Group in Chandler, AZ is hiring a Laser Operator to program and operate TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending systems. You will convert SolidWorks files to laser-ready formats, write standard work instructions, and troubleshoot CNC programs to ensure high-quality output on every run.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC laser cutting, bending systems, and workflows.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and similar equipment.
• Understanding of welding and final assembly of complex sheet metal assemblies.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Collaborative team player across departments.

Responsibilities

• Operate TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending system programs.
• Program files for laser cut nesting.
• Convert SolidWorks files into laser sheet metal files for production.
• Create standard work instructions for new and existing programs.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and implement process improvements.
• Communicate effectively with staff to ensure accuracy and quality.
