Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring a Machine Operator in Aurora, IL to operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other production equipment. The role requires loading programs, setting up lenses, interpreting blueprints, and maintaining safe operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in 2D laser cutting, strong math skills, and the ability to work a 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour with medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of 2D laser cutting experience.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and procedures.
• Experience with sheet metal.
• Ability to multitask and work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser cutting machine and assist other operators.
• Load programs and set machine parameters.
• Unload, sort, count, and package cut parts.
• Set up tooling and adjust controls for parts per blueprints.
• Inspect parts and ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain an organized work area and collaborate with team.
• Report machine malfunctions.
