PROFESSIONAL FABRICATION INC is seeking a laser operator to join our Denmark, WI facility. The role focuses on producing high-quality parts with tight tolerances on laser equipment, following blueprints, and loading appropriate programs.

First shift, Monday–Friday, 5am–3pm. Base pay ranges from $22.00 to $30.00 per hour, with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000. Experience with G and M codes and nesting is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years laser operating experience.
• Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel & Stainless.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of G and M codes.
• Ability to operate forklifts and reach trucks safely.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, pin gauges & tape measures.
• Computer proficiency; nesting knowledge preferred.

Responsabilités

• Change nozzles based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
• Review all nests for sheet utilization and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and adjust laser to maintain the best cut possible to avoid secondary work.
• Perform PM’s as scheduled.
