Job summary

Horsepower Automotive Group in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Laser Operator to operate and program our TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending systems, ensuring high-quality output on every run. You will convert SolidWorks files into laser sheet metal files, create standard work instructions, troubleshoot CNC programs, and collaborate across teams to maintain accuracy and quality.

Shifts are 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC laser cutting, bending systems, and workflows.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and similar equipment.
• Understanding of welding and final assembly of complex sheet metal assemblies.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Collaborative team player across departments.

The Role

The Laser Operator is responsible for operating and programming our TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending systems, ensuring accurate, high‑quality output on every run.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 or older
• Experience in metal fabrication preferred
• Experience in laser operation and programming preferred
• Prior use of TRUMPF systems, Boost Programs, or TruTops is a strong plus
• Basic computer skills required
