Job summary

Associated Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Laser / Press Brake Operator for a weekend shift in Columbus, NE. This role focuses on setting up and operating CNC fiber laser or CNC press brake equipment, reading blueprints, and ensuring part quality.

You will work Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, with pay at $20-$25 per hour based on experience. Enjoy four days off each week and a stable, year-round schedule.

Qualifications

• This is not an entry-level position; you must have CNC laser and/or press brake experience.
• Experience setting up machines and interpreting fabrication blueprints.
• Strong measuring/inspection skills and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC fiber laser and/or CNC press brake equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, bend charts and work orders.
• Select tooling and machine parameters for each job.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts for quality.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, tape measures and angle gauges.
• Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and adjust as needed.
• Operate support equipment and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.

CNC Laser / Press Brake Operator Weekend Shift

Location: Columbus, NE Pay: $20 $25/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 AM 6:00 PM WORK 3 DAYS. GET PAID FOR 5.

Want a skilled manufacturing job that gives you four days off every week? This dedicated weekend position lets you work just three 12-hour shifts and get paid for a full 40-hour week. This is a Friday, Saturday and Sunday ONLY position. There is no weekday schedule available. What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC fiber laser and/or CNC press brake equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, bend charts and work orders
• Select the appropriate tooling and machine parameters for each job
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures and angle gauges
• Troubleshoot routine equipment or production issues and make necessary adjustments
• Operate support equipment, including cold saws
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area

What We're Looking For

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with the experience and skills to step into production and work with minimal direction after training.

• Previous CNC laser and/or CNC press brake operating experience
• Machine setup experience
• Ability to read and understand fabrication blueprints
• Strong measuring and inspection skills
• Ability to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week
• Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to the weekend schedule
• Experience operating both CNC laser and press brake equipment is preferred, but candidates with strong experience in either area are encouraged to apply.
