Job summary

Associated Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Laser / Press Brake Operator for a weekend shift in Columbus, NE. This role focuses on setting up and operating CNC fiber laser or CNC press brake equipment, reading blueprints, and ensuring part quality.

You will work Friday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, with pay at $20-$25 per hour based on experience. Enjoy four days off each week and a stable, year-round schedule.

Qualifications

This is not an entry-level position; you must have CNC laser and/or press brake experience.
Experience setting up machines and interpreting fabrication blueprints.
Strong measuring/inspection skills and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC fiber laser and/or CNC press brake equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, bend charts and work orders.
Select tooling and machine parameters for each job.
Inspect first-piece and in-process parts for quality.
Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, tape measures and angle gauges.
Troubleshoot routine equipment issues and adjust as needed.
Operate support equipment and perform routine machine maintenance.
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
