Job summary

Boon Edam in North Carolina is seeking a CNC Sheet Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and run a CNC laser and press brake, recall programs, and dial in offsets to meet production schedules and quality standards.

You will read engineering drawings, use calipers and micrometers for precise measurements, and collaborate with teammates to keep parts flowing. Overtime may be required to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree a plus.
• 3–5 years setting up and operating CNC laser and press brake equipment.
• Able to read engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Proficient with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and protractors.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser and press brake equipment to meet quality targets.
• Recall/edit programs and dial in offsets as needed.
• Cut, bend, punch, drill, and deburr components to spec.
• Inspect parts and document quality checks.
• Stage parts for handoff to internal customers.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety checks.
